On October 18, 2014, for the second year in a row, the PlovDev conference was held. The goal is to strengthen the IT community. I was one of the speakers, and my presentation was on the topic of “Team Programming”.
Programming is teamwork. Good results are achieved with a good team. And for a team to be good, all its members must know how to program as a team.
In the lecture, I examined several basic rules for teamwork:
- Code convention
- Comments in the code
- Code testing
- Working with Source Control systems
- Work ethics
Here is the presentation itself in PDF format.
The conference was very interesting with topics that touched on different areas of programming. I met people from different cities in the country, we exchanged ideas or simply communicated.
I thank the organizers for the perfect organization and I hope that there will soon be new publications that will popularize good practices in programming.
